HouseSimple says some are extraordinarily small, despite the seven-figure price tag.
It claims that the smallest is in Westminster and is on sale through CBRE for £1.04m and measures just 416 square feet; “that’s a fifth of the size of a singles tennis court” says the online firm.
An analysis of over 1.6m listings by Rightmove shows a big return to normality – demand for smaller city centre properties rising, and rural demand dropping.
The portal says in the past year bigger family homes were the strongest performers, but this has now shifted to flats: flats saw the biggest jump in demand between April and January, an uplift of 39 per cent.
